Laura appears as Beth in the UK Premiere of

Laura officially earns her MA in Music Theatre from the Central School of Speech and Drama , graduating with distinction.

November 2011

Laura becomes a session singer for the BML Workshops , working with London's burgeoning composers and lyricists to develop new musicals.

July 2011

Laura performs a vocal jazz set at the world famous Henley Festival .

Laura sings the role of Tess in a workshop of Tess of the d'Urbervilles by Stephen Edwards.

About Laura.

Laura Hope-London is American actress, singer, and writer from the Big Apple, currently living abroad and making a name for herself in the Big Smoke.

She was born to a pair of New Yorkers and bred on the sandy shores near Atlantic City, New Jersey. Her pianist father and dramaphile mother exposed her to the likes of Ella Fitzgerald, Gershwin, Porter, and Rogers and Hammerstein from a very early age, and from then on, it was impossible to shut her up. Her childhood days were filled with dance classes, creative writing groups, school plays and community theatre. She made her official stage debut at age 8 in a production of Annie , and the rest, as they say, is history.

In high school, Laura's creative abilities thrived and she won many awards for singing, drama, and writing, most notably publishing in a national anthology for youth literature and taking home the coveted International Thespian Society Best Thespian scholarship for drama.

Laura continued to pursue her love for drama and writing at the prestigious NYU Tisch School of the Arts, where she double majored in drama and journalism. While at Tisch she appeared in many productions and trained in musical theatre at CAP21 and screen acting at Stonestreet Studios for Film and Television.

Upon graduating with honors from NYU, Laura lived and worked in New York City, appearing in plays, musicals, readings and workshops both Off-Broadway and regionally. Most recent New York credits include John & Jen (Jen, Artists Salon), A Christmas Carol (Belle, US Tour) and two world premiere musicals by Elizabeth Swados, A tonement and R akheLeah . Recent film and TV includes R oyal Pains (USA Network) and Mildred Pierce (HBO Films). She also continued to develop several writing projects with collaborators in the film and theatre worlds.

In 2010, Laura decided to take her act on the road once more, this time in a Transatlantic move to London to earn her MA in Music Theatre at The Central School of Speech and Drama. She has since graduated with distinction and continues to make her home in London, where she is building her career on the page, stage, and screen.
